UH ITS is broadcasting a workshop today (11/10/09) at noon in Building 2, Room 509.  It will be an overview of the Halawai webconference tool, its interface and features.  It also covers the process of requesting a meeting.

Mac Users: Snow Leopard OS 10.6 Reverts to Older Vulnerable Flash Player

UPDATE: Tuesday September 1, 2009 8:25 a.m.  Router maintenance/upgrade has been completed.  The campus network is operational.

SCHEDULED OUTAGE: Tuesday September 1, 2009 Router maintenance/upgrade is scheduled for between 6:30 a.m and 7:00 a.m.  During the upgrade process the campus network will be unavailable.

ALERT: Tuesday August 25, 2009 HCC Webmail experienced a brief outage between 7:49 am and 8:20 am today.  If you are still experiencing problems, please contact Technical Desktop Support at x333.

UPDATE:  Monday August 24, 2009 Home Directories (O drive), HCC Mail and HCC Personal Web Pages are now available.  The hardware installation to replace the defective part was successfully completed.  If you are still experiencing problems, please contact Technical Desktop Support at x333.

SCHEDULED OUTAGE: Thursday August 20, 2009  Home Directories (O drive), HCC Mail and HCC Personal Web Pages will not be available between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.  We will need to replace hardware at that time.  Please stay tuned to our website for updates.

UPDATE: Friday August 14, 2009 4:15 p.m.  Majority of known issues are resolved.  HCC Webmail is now operational.  If you are still experiencing problems, please contact Technical Desktop Support at x333.

ALERT: Thursday August 13, 2009.  Our disk drives experienced a hardware error.  We are working with the vendor to resolve this problem.  HCC user home directories and HCC mail are not available.

Follow up on August 6, 2009 HCC Webmail outage.  Messages sent between Thursday August 6, 2009 11:00 a.m. and Friday August 7, 2009 Noon using HCC Webmail may not have been delivered.  Please contact message recipient to confirm message was received.  If not, please resend the message.

ALERT: Thursday August 6, 2009.  There was a Webmail outage between 10:22 a.m. and 11:16 a.m. today.

UPDATE: Wednesday July 22, 2009 9:30 a.m.  HCC Webmail is currently not available.  An HCC account was compromised on Monday night and ITC is working to correct the situation.  Please stay tuned for updates.
